Turn RIGHT onto RAYMOND STOTZER PKWY. RAYMOND STOTZER PKWY becomes UNIVERSITY DR. Take the ramp towards FM-2154/WELLBORN. Turn RIGHT onto WELLBORN RD. Turn LEFT onto F & B RD. Turn RIGHT onto FINFEATHER RD.Turn LEFT onto W PEASE ST. Turn RIGHT onto GROESBECK ST. Turn LEFT onto TRANT ST. TRANT ST becomes BRYANT ST. Turn RIGHT onto GAINER ST. Turn RIGHT onto HOLT ST. Turn LEFT onto OLIVER AVE.
[I think I got there last by taking South College fromTAMU into Bryan, turning left onto 28th Street, then searching for the signs that indicated a left turn into a disarmingly residential neighborhood, where Tampico is a block or two up. --yer friendly webmistress]

Outstanding Mexican Cuisine! This place is one of my favorites. Daily specials and a cafeteria styled kitchen from which you may select a plate with all the prepared "fixin's" or just order what ever you want off their menu. You can always call ahead to check to see what they have prepared if you only want the lunch plate. Typical Mexican menu including AWESOME Caldo (soup), Enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos and lots of other great selections. You will have a hard time finding them open after lunch (normally close daily @ 2 p.m.!!) but they open early around 6 a.m. They offer many breakfast plates or you can just order a taco or 2... or 3 :-D. They also have (2) types of sauce for your chips... one for the boys and one for the men, which is a direct quote :) So if you are tired of mediocre Mexican food, you have to give Tampico a try!
