christopher's world grille
Directions from TAMU: Prices: Veggie-friendly? Notes
Not for the light of wallet but... "Christopher's" is the best restaurant I have been to in this town. (ok,
just outside this town) Their service is perfect, their food is
wonderful, the atmosphere is sedate... Everything you want for a quiet
dinner for two. One appetizer (don't miss them, they are great!), two
nice dinners (very filling, they don't skimp on portions like some "high
class" joints), and two delicious desserts if you have room will cost you
$75-$100, and worth every penny. Because of the price, I've only been
twice on special occasions and someone else was picking up the bill. :)
But, if you have the $, you can't go wrong. Reservations are pretty
much required on fri and sat, because they fill up pretty fast.
--some person whose name I seem to have misplaced (sorry! let me know who you are and I'll credit you!) 11/27/2001 Personally I think the restaurant is very over rated. I took my son for his 22nd birthday. My food was VERY salty, service was not so good. I had to ask twice for a glass of water. The wine suggested was awful. I should have sent it back but I was shy about it. All in all I paid more for my son and I to eat than I paid to go to Anthony's in Houston which has 1- MUCH better food I would NOT go back. I have been there for appetizers and they were good. Unusual. --Cheryl Davis | ![]() | ||||
