blue baker
Directions from TAMU: Prices: Veggie-friendly? Notes
It only serves lunches [note: they have now changed their hours for the longer] and, for the morning, baked goods and great
coffee, but The Blue Baker is the best thing to hit this town food-wise
since Cafe Eccel (which was HUGE news at the time). Fantastic deli sandwiches on real fresh
baked bread (i.e., bread that actually has a crust), and wonderful
Caesar and Spinach salads handmade for you on the spot. And tasty music
to boot. Located where the Brazos Blue Ribbon Bakery was. --Chris Menzel Blue Baker is a sort of deli and coffeeshop combo. Not too much choice sandwich-wise -- though they all look good --- but lots of coffee and baked goods to choose from. I'm going to have to go back and try their individual chocolate gateau... --yer lovely and talented webmistress 11/27/2001 I thought that it was excellent service, incredible atmosphere (great
for studying) and the food was defiantly of good quality and the thing I
like best was the prices. It has become my favorite place to eat (and I'm rather stingy and like eating at my own home) yet I found this place to be an overall A+ in service, quality, atmosphere, and value (not just prices but also what I'm getting for the money I'm paying). I regularly take friends there to eat. I would highly recommend it to any one for a very pleasant
dining experience. --Martin Montero | ![]() | ||||
